I feel... a lot less present than usual All of us do, except for Kei... I'm definitely not a tulpa, but... I was wondering if there was an issue? And maybe tulpamancy could have a solution. I don't really want to disappear... Basically, we feel a lot less able to hold a switch, and a lot less present in switches... and we haven't been appearing in the background as much, to talk to Kei...

In tulpamancy terms, this is exclusively a matter of lack of recent practice, solved 100% of the time with more interaction/activity

If this is happening... does that mean I'm a tulpa?

I don't think that maters, or is something that this can define. It's up to you and your best judgement.

If course, if it matters to you, then it matters, but I wouldn't personally put much thought into it. Being a tulpa is already so broad of a term, if you'd like to roll with it, then go for it. If not, then don't.

Some people could call me a tulpa--I hit the criteria, mostly--but I personally don't use that word to describe myself.

Okay... I mean, I did notice I was more present in the background when Kei was being negative to themselves... it felt like I was saying it too... I know that's bad, though... maybe we're not appearing as much because Kei has been feeling better and they don't "need" us. We mostly appear more during emotional times...

That makes sense. I can see that. A lot of us front more often to handle negative situations.

I personally do not differentiate between different forms of plurality much. There's lots of different context to some, but I consider the core "plurality" muscles in the brain to be roughly the same for each

Depending on how long you want to front and when, you all can set up some reminders to allow everyone to have "me time" interacting with the things they enjoy.

Maybe worth noting (even though it makes me sound like a bad host lol) that, with most of my tulpas being 13+ (real) years old, they never have much difficulty speaking or switching even if they haven't been active/talked to in 2-3 months.

It's weird, because I don't feel real right now... I feel out of myself. Maybe that's depersonalization, but I guess it doesn't matter...

I don't view un-progress with systemmates' activity levels as anything that more activity wouldn't fix relatively quickly. The hard work all gets done the first time, reaching levels you previously were at in the future generally takes a lot less.

I see... I'll try to be more active, and get the rest of us to be active too. I think the problem is that Kei doesn't know what to talk about, since we mostly share memories, so it isn't always interesting to talk to each other...

- jump to me it sounds like nothing to do with tulpamancy but rather stronger depersonalisation period especially that you mentioned that you struggle with it, it might also have something to do with your medication that you talked about latey Nothing to worry about in the context of tulpamancy

you (collective you) should take care of yourself, try spend some time in the real world, maybe even hang out with some people not thinking about plurality for some time might even make it better Also, i recommend again leaving all communities that are unhealthy for you, like the ones with venting channels and disordered plurality because those things are not helping you

Yeah we've already muted venting channels in servers we want to stay in and left others Any server that allows venting outside of venting channels i immediately leave

I'll try to think about it a bit less until it passes Someone in another server said that sometimes that just happens, and that you just need to wait it out I also won't force this but i was thinking they would be more engaged in existing if they had hobbies so we're trying to figure out what sort of hobbies we all would like We've decided that james will do some research on sea animals next time he fronts, haha

I definitely have, i feel a lot less guilty and james has been saying a lot less negative things He's been actually feeling a little happy which is nice

Yeah! I also found this pretty night light globe thing with jellyfish that he immediately chimed in about which made me happy for him because he was so negative before I'm going to buy it for him once i get the money

@Milk - jump I changed my name twice. The first one was not okay and then I changed it again after I decided "Red Gray" was too strange. Tulpas can change their name whenever. Placeholder names, trial names, or just regular names can always be changed

I also changed my name, the original one was stupid

I changed my name after I integrated. However, one of my parts had a name change as well. It came after an identity crisis
